Community Wide Walking Program

A new community wide walking program is now available and online. Best of all it is free and you can get a free pedometer at the Recreation Center, City of Gillette, School District Central Services, or the Hospital. Click on the Gym 60 Logo below to visit the site and start logging your miles.

Personal Training

Personal training is offered year round.  Everyone can benefit from a personal trainer regardless of age, gender, exercise history or fitness level.  Your trainer will have you do activities or exercises to develop muscular, cariovascular fitness as well as flexibility.  Depending on your personal goals, you may also do activities to develop coordination, balance, power or agility.  Our trainers have a variety of skills to provide you with options so that your workouts give you the results you want to meet your fitness goals.  Make an appointment to day with one of our  8 certified trainers.

Jo DurginJo Durgin - Certified Personal Trainer through American Aerobics Fitness Association (AAFA)  Certified Group Exercise Instructor, Power Flex instructor and Cardio Fit Instructor.

Becky Coleman - Group Fitness Instructor with five plus years of experience, Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine, Active runner and Tri-Athlete.

Stacey Thar - Certified Personal Trainer through ISSA and through Functional Movement Systems.  Currently studying for an associate’s degree in Health Science.  Patient care Coordinator and Physical Therapy Aide at Rehab Solutions.

Sarah Parker - Associate of Science in Biology, ACSM Certified Personal Trainer (cPT). Certified in Zumba, ZumbaTomic, Zumba Toning, Total Body Strength and Conditioning (AAAI/ISMA), Gliding (Mindy Mylrea), Bootcamp (FitTour). Zumba Instructor and Substitute Instructor for various other classes.

Stacy KarolStacey Karol - Certified Personal Trainer through (ACSM) American College of Sports Medicine. Variety Fit Instructor

Bob HollanderBob Hollander - Ceritified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Experience working with the Nebraska Athletic Department as a student strength coach. Teaches nutrition classes and conducts corporate wellness seminars.

Chris Jeremiah Chris Jeremiah - Certified CrossFit Level 1 Instructor and Department of Defense “Master of Fitness Instructor”.  Chris was born and raised in Gillette, and was a 2 time Wyoming State Champion in Cross Country and Track, and while in the Army competed on the NATO Special Operations Pentathlon Team and 2 first place Army Ten-Miler teams, (with a PR of 57:46 for 10 miles). Chris has been teaching CrossFit to Soldiers and civilians alike since 2007, with 2 years of integrating injured Soldiers and Wounded Warrior members into a successful physical fitness program.  Chris believes in a relaxed but highly efficient approach to fitness and has helped 54 clients lose over 1100lbs since he became a personal trainer in September

Christi MacraeChristi MacRae - Christi has been iinvolved in CrossFit for three years and received her CrossFit Level 1 Certification.  She has been instructing CrossFit classes for over a year and has also been a Level 1 gymnastics coach as well as group fitness training and personal training. Christi's motto is “Functional Movements for a Healthier Life." She believes in doing this thru flexibility, mobility and strength along with proper nutrition. Everyone has their own reasons for deciding to make a change in their life.  Whatever your reason, Christi would love to help you reach your goal!
