Personal Training

Personal training is offered year round.  Everyone can benefit from a personal trainer regardless of age, gender, exercise history or fitness level.  Your trainer will have you do activities or exercises to develop muscular, cariovascular fitness as well as flexibility.  Depending on your personal goals, you may also do activities to develop coordination, balance, power or agility.  Our trainers have a variety of skills to provide you with options so that your workouts give you the results you want to meet your fitness goals.  Make an appointment to day with one of our  8 certified trainers.

Jara Soost - Certified Personal trainer and Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.  Bachelors degree in Kinesiology (study of Movement) and a Masters degree in Performance Enhancement Injury Prevention. Licensed Certified Athletic Trainer, Certified Massage Therapist and an Elite Trainer/Fitness expert with Sharecare virtual coaching as seen on the Dr. Oz show.

Jessica Baumann - Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. 

Times available to train: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:30am-3pm
Tuesday and Thursday 9:30am-11:30am and 1:30pm-3pm

 

Lyndie Larson - Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise with an associates degree in Exercise Science and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education. 

Times available to train: Most evenings after 4pm and weekends by appointment

  

Wendy Lloyd - Certified Personal Trainer, Group Exercise instructor and Kickboxing instructor through American Aerobics Fitness Association (AAFA).  Bachelor's degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Physical Therapy. 

Times available to train: Monday, Wednesday Friday 5am-6:30 am & 5:30pm-7pm
Tuesday and Thursday 5:30pm-7pm

Michael Foote - Certified  Strength & Conditioning Specialist through National Strength & Conditioning Association, Wellness Coach  through Wellness coaches/American College of Sports Medicine, Certified Health/Fitness Instructor through the American College of Sports Medicine.  Certified Massage Therapist through the American Institute of Massage Therapy.  Masters Degree in Somatic Psychology. Training in Functional Exercise with Juan Carlos Santana at the Institute of Human Performance, Senior Fitness Assessment with Jesse Jones, PhD at the Department of Health Science Cal State Fullerton, Senior Agility & Mobility training with Debra Rose, PhD at the Center for Successful Aging Cal State Fullerton and Tai Chi for Arthritis/Older Adults with Paul Lam, MD

Stacey Thar - Certified Personal Trainer through ISSA and through Functional Movement Systems.  Currently studying for an associate’s degree in Health Science.  Patient care Coordinator and Physical Therapy Aide at Rehab Solutions.

Juanita Ostrem - Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength & Conditioning Association.  Bachelors degree in Chemistry. Australian strength and conditioning and AUS certified 3 personal trainer.  Have mentorship with Institute for Human Performance and was one of 3 finalist for NSCA personal trainer of year 2007.

Times available to train: Monday - Friday Variety of hours



Jo Durgin - Certified Personal Trainer through American Aerobics Fitness Association (AAFA)  Certified Group Exercise Instructor, Power Flex instructor and Cardio Fit Instructor.

Times Available to train: Monday – Friday 10am-5pm
